During one week each November, thousands of partners across the United States hold events and competitions to celebrate and support local entrepreneurs.

1 Million Cups is a free, monthly national program designed to educate, engage, and connect entrepreneurs. Developed by the Kauffman Foundation, 1MC is based on the notion that entrepreneurs discover solutions and network over a million cups of coffee. Early-stage startups present their companies to a diverse audience of their peers, mentors, educators, and advisors. Afterward, each startup receives feedback via an audience survey and from the local organizers in their city. No registration needed.

But it’s not something we talk much about, so it seems scary and hard, and we don’t want to be the only ones who mess up. Fail-Up Night is an opportunity for an open and honest conversation about the failures that occur while building a business. Seasoned entrepreneurs share their stories of failures, missteps, and mistakes and how they used those experiences to grow and improve.

The event will celebrate the creativity and innovation in Oklahoma City by showcasing local start-ups, coworking spaces, and local artists. The purpose of Creative Collisions is to connect entrepreneurs, investors, and professionals inside and outside of Oklahoma City’s start-up community in an engaging format.
Join us at Angry Scotsman Brewing for networking, brews, food, and live music (provided by Christian Pearson of OkSessions). The evening will culminate with a toast at 7p from special guest and creative, Graham Colton! The first round of beers is FREE and provided by Angry Scotsman Brewing.
